There will be a deliciously long post of pictures for this couple's wedding when the gorgeous professional photos from Kaylee Eylander Photography are finished. But in the meantime, because I loved this wedding for being simple and pretty but still chock full of personal touches, and because I loved this couple for being the quirky, awesome pair that they are, I'll share a few glimpses to tide you over.

Happy Friday! I think this is my last engagement posting this year...which means postings of wedding photos are right around the corner! So excited!

Below, meet Breann and Travis! Another super laid back and easy going couple that are getting hitched in September with a modern peacock color wedding at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal. I've really gotten lucky with my clients this year as they're all just genuinely fun and great people to work with - this couple no exception!

Engagements: Amanda & Andrew - BB Jean Events, Bellingham WA, Wedding Planner

I have super creative couples this year including the lovely pair below. Amanda and Andrew are a sweet pair gearing up for a 1930s swing dance wedding reception at the Marysville Opera House in September complete with incredible food and wine, dancing and plenty of glamorous vintage touches. Can not wait!

Somehow Kaylee Eylander Photography managed to snag another of my couples and she has once again captured them in such a beautiful and cool way (despite the chilly, wintry, rainy weather!). :) This couple is every bit as head over heels for eachother in person as they are in these pictures and I'm looking forward to their beautiful upcoming wedding!

How to describe Cat & Todd . . .well, they met on a commercial fishing vessel, she's a fesity blonde from California that does roller derby, he's a guy that likes to cook, make mead, and adores the feisty roller derby blonde from California, and together they're a breath of fresh air because with them came ideas for one of those most outside the box weddings we'll be putting together and I'm super excited for their date to arrive! All kinds of fun and mayhem and great times will be had at their ocean themed wedding. And by ocean, they meant that there would be plenty of anchors and octopi used, maybe some quirky vintage details, maybe flower girls dressed as sea princesses, maybe a killer band at cocktail hour and plenty of fantastic food... But alas, the big day is still two months away - two months exactly until the summer solstice when these two get hitched and for now, you'll have to be satisfied with their incredible engagement pictures by Kaylee at Kaylee Eylander Photography. Their shoot took them from 20th Century Bowling in Downtown Bellingham, WA to the railroad tracks and then to the waterfront...

There you go! Alot, if you haven't figured it out. And for the list of all of the people, places and things that I love about what I do, Kaylee Eylander Photography is pretty high on my list. In fact, to be quite honest, I'm smitten with all that Kaylee creates and when she offered some new company head shots and a shoot with my husband, I was touched, and excited, appreciative, and giddy all wrapped up into one.

I'm not the biggest fan of posting pictures of me-I prefer to showcase my work instead. But in this instance, I had to offer some kudos to Kaylee's way. She did an awesome job and is one of only a few photographers that I've had the privilege of working with professionally and personally. The time spent with her was just as much of a treat as the rockin' photos she created. Below are a few recent snaps-with many more available at her blog.
